Pispalas better Friday in Finnish longer Friday, starts on Good Friday and continues on Saturday. This Easter weekend various communities in Pispala provide a treasure map adventure across the mighty Pispala hill. Through the various activities provided by the different communities you will get to take part and taste the uniqune spirit that unifies the town community. We promise you extraordinary situations of sharing and coming together. So take a little money to cover some of the costs of the workshops and come and visit Pispala

17:00 Opening gathering at Tahmela beach

18:00 Beach Boulevard Cafe, the planting good seeds & Wreath workshop at Kurpitsatalo

The pumpkin house summer café is open for one day.  What would you like to plant? parsley, dill or peace and love?

Bind and decorate your own Wreath, the Vuorenväki ry:s  witches and trolls will be happy to assist you.

21:00 A cry from prolonged joy. Singing hymns at the Rajaportti sauna

Singing hymns in the sauna during Easter is seriously the hottest thing to do. So take a towel and be prepared for an unpredictable cleansing experience.

12:00 Brunch- potluck at the Living Room
Contribute some food to the communal brunch. The atmosphere will be coloured by music from the Musiikkitoteemin youth.

Would you see yourself in a new light once you materialise your self concept into visual form. Come and give shape to clay, come and give it life. Come and see if you have something to say during the silent time of Easter.

14:00 Handcraft fair at Hirvitalo
Come and see the results of the Hirvitalo handcraft workshop from the past week. You can bring something of your own to exchange or sell.

15:00 Discussion about the future of Pispala at the Pispala Library
